Welcome to Ecom Roster. By using our platform at ecomroster.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are an Expert on the platform, the Expert Agreement also applies to you.

1. About the Platform

Ecom Roster is a marketplace that connects clients with ecommerce experts for paid consultation sessions. We facilitate the connection, payment, and scheduling — but the advice and services are provided by independent Experts, not by Ecom Roster.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform.

3. Bookings & Payments

When you book a session with an Expert:

  • Payment is collected upfront via Stripe before scheduling
  • The total price is set by the Expert and displayed before checkout
  • A 20% platform fee is included in the price — Experts receive 80% of the booking amount
  • After payment, you will be directed to schedule a time via Calendly
  • You will receive a confirmation email and calendar invite with session details

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Our cancellation policy:

  • More than 24 hours before the session: full refund available
  • Less than 24 hours before the session: no refund, unless the Expert cancels or fails to attend
  • Expert no-show: you will receive a full refund
  • Technical issues: contact us and we will work to reschedule or refund as appropriate

5. What You Get

A session is a live consultation with an ecommerce Expert. The Expert will provide advice and guidance based on their experience. Sessions are not a guarantee of specific business results. You are responsible for how you apply any advice received.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten Experts or other users
  • Attempt to circumvent platform payments by arranging sessions outside Ecom Roster
  • Share another person's account credentials
  • Scrape, copy, or misuse platform content

7. Confidentiality

Sessions may involve sharing sensitive business information. Both clients and Experts agree to keep session content confidential. Recordings (if any) require consent from both parties and may not be shared publicly without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Ecom Roster is a marketplace that connects clients with independent Experts. We do not employ, endorse, or guarantee the advice provided by Experts. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ecom Roster shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or any advice received during sessions.

9. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with an Expert or with the platform, please contact us at support@ecomroster.com. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes fairly and promptly.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
